We stone mill our grains in-house from organic, whole wheat berries
from Janie’s Mill in northern Illinois. Adding just water and salt,
our delicious sourdough loaves come to life.
Our stone ground flour is the base for all our other baked goods,
providing nutrition and flavor that’s unmatched. Try our cookies,

Our traveling adventures took us to Guatemala, where we stumbled
upon a small family farm producing coffee—Finca La Pampa. High in
the foothills of the Acatenango Volcano, Finca La Pampa produces a
wide variety of specialty, single-origin coffee beans, which are
hand-picked at peak flavor, resulting in a smooth, robust, and
flavorful cup of coffee. We import green beans directly from the
farm and roast them in our cottage bakery in Edwardsville.
Finca La Pampa is Rainforest Alliance Certified, meaning the farm
complies with Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) Standards,
including wildlife protection, ecosystem conservation, and fair
treatment and good working conditions for workers
As a Cottage Bakery certified by the Madison County Health Department, you can have confidence that we are Certified Food Protection Managers and all of our products are made and packaged according to food safety guidelines. That being said, our products are produced in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the health department, and that may also process common food allergens. If you have safety concerns, contact your local health department.
